Kha-p'o Ed. Team Attends Training

Governor Michael Chavarria and members of the Kha-p'o Education Team attended the Bureau of Indian Education's Tribal Consultation in Window Rock today. BIE Director Dr. Charles Roessel gave more specifics on the potential changes that are occurring within the BIE in accordance with the new strategic plan. Governor Chavarria spoke and made recommendations to the Bureau moving forward. Other community members were also given the chance to speak, and the BIE is accepting written comments until May 15, 2015.
