School Calendar and Scheduling for Week of 2/1/2021

Dear KCS Families:

Please be informed that the scheduling for this coming Monday and Tuesday, February 1-2, 2021 will be arranged to support KCS staff for health care needs. The days will be arranged as follows:

Monday, February 1, 2021 will have the afternoon scheduled for students to utilize for time to catch up on homework. Teachers will update you on their classroom arrangements for that day
Tuesday, February 2, 2021 will have the day set for what we are defining as a Snow Day for students. Please arrange this time for students as a day out of school. Teachers will also provide an update on scheduling for that day.

The school calendar for this school year was set to accommodate days we may take out of school due to the conditions that occur. We ask for your patience and consideration for KCS staff to address health care needs on these days. If you have any questions; please contact the Executive Director, Elizabeth Bahe at 505-927-0063.

Food Delivery Notice

email Dear KCS Parents/Guardians,

We are asking each household who receives meal boxes to do the following:
PLEASE….

DESIGNATE an area at the front entrance/porch to receive your weekly Meal Box as we do not want animals taking food.
Do not come out to get meals, If there are people outside during delivery time, staff will refrain from delivering to that household. No contact is how we all can keep safe.
No contact between household and delivery staff is part of Khapo Community School’s safety protocol.
