Director of Tewa Integration and Partnerships
Welcome, Director of Tewa Integration and Partnerships Applicants: At Kha’p’o Community School (KCS) we have the opportunity to create a special place where our students can succeed in school and become better prepared to maintain our Tewa language and culture and contribute to our community. To help accomplish this vision, KCS seeks an individual to lead and support efforts to enable our children to speak, think, read, write and learn in both Tewa and English and to create opportunities for students, staff, and our community at large to learn and revitalize our language. To apply for this position, please submit a KCS application and a 1-page response to this question: How can KCS work together with the tribe and our community members to help revitalize our Tewa language and help students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in school and contribute positively to our community? Include what you think are important ways for children and KCS staff to both learn, speak, read and write Tewa and how you might help plan those learning opportunities in collaboration with Tewa language experts from our community, KCS teachers, KCS staff and other tribal partners. Please follow the link above for the job description. Parent Letter - NWEA10/7/2021
