Happy Monday!  We hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving break and was able to spend some time with family and friends. We have some great announcements coming out this week, so stay tuned!

Thank you to the community members and SCDS staff that attended the Advising Committee meeting last night. We shared pizza and great insights over the process and the potential for the school moving forward. The meeting notes will be posted shortly, and can be found on our Advising Committee page.

​We also wanted to share that the Governor's office has posted the School Board vacancies for the Tribally Controlled school.  Keep in mind these positions will NOT take the place of the current school board. These members will be making decisions during the transition year and be the Board of Finance on July 1, 2016 when the school officially converts.

The monthly Advising Committee meeting is on for tonight at 6:00 PM in the Department of Youth and Learning offices. We will have some light refreshments. You can see the agenda below.  Look forward to seeing you there.
