It's all in a name...
During the School Board meeting on February 17, members narrowed down the name of the Tribally Controlled Santa Clara Elementary school to three options:
Kha’p'ong Khá:Kandiwe (Translation: The People’s Learning Place)
Kha’p'ong Khá:kan Tewha (Translation: The Peoples Learning House)
Kha'p'o' Community School
Now, it's up to YOU to decide! The community can vote here:
Online survey results combined with results from parents and students will determine the new name of the school! Check back to see the winner!
The School Board has posted several job positions including: Principal, Director of Operations, Business Manager, Elementary Teacher, and Special Education Teacher. Please visit our new jobs page (here) for job descriptions, pay scales, and access to the online application.

We are happy to announce that the Bureau of Indian Education has approved the Santa Clara Pueblo's application to convert the Santa Clara Day School to Tribally Controlled Grant Status. Thank you all for your support and efforts. The hard work begins now!
